Blogging

So people blog for alot of reasons.  Some to become famous and hopefully be seen on MTV now or just to share things they have in common with other people, photography, favorite actors/actress, point is: people blog to be heard.  Some want to leave their mark on the world in some way; they want to be remembered.  Now its not hard to blog, just find a free host and sign up, (for free of course), vualla, they’ve just created their very own blog.

Teachers do it also to share course material, maybe help those parents who home school their children.  Now, though, it seems that it doesn’t really matter if you blog unless you know who the blogger is and visit their site for support.  Just because you put a blog on the internet doesn’t mean it will immediately be found by a simple search engine because you type in the title let alone the address to find it.  Its really about who you know.  By expanding your social network, getting to know other people through the blogging community, then people will start to hear you more clearly and maybe even subscribe to you.  However, you can’t just blog about your life, no matter how dramatic it is.  You may connect to a few people going through the same thing you are but that’s not enough.  Find a purpose for your blog, share it with others and you’d be surprised as to how many people actually agree with or can relate to you, eventually building your voice across the blogging community.

Another way to get people to hear you is just making your blog fun, interactive.  Put things on your blog people will enjoy so they can come back to your blog and maybe even suggest you to others, therefore expanding your network even more.  So to put it in a nutshell:  Creat a blog with a purpose and make it interactive.
